L I B E R T Y P A R K As the Liberty Park residential community has continued to grow, so has the demand for retail offerings in the Liberty Park area. And the supply continues to increase: This fall, Moore Oil, a specialized convenience store, will open on the corner of Liberty Parkway and South Liberty Lane. Also this fall, On Tap, a 6,000-square-foot, Tudor-style sports café, will open with an outdoor seating area with a fireplace and patio for live music, says Carlyle Thornton, marketing and communications manager at Liberty Park Joint Venture. Construction is also underway on a 7,500-square-foot upscale fitness facility. Anytime Fitness will move into the Liberty Park space, offering fitness equipment, advanced physical training and classes. In addition, a grocer has committed to a 48,300-square-foot store in Liberty Park. "There will be more announcements regarding this grocer in the coming months and the anticipated opening is fall of 2019," Thornton says. Regarding office space in the area, Encompass Health recently moved into its new headquarters office located at the entrance of Liberty Park. Liberty Parkway is being widened and will be extended past the new Encompass building. "Eventually, the parkway will be widened to four lanes all the way down to Liberty Park Baptist Church," Thornton adds. As the Liberty Park residential community has continued to grow, so has the demand for retail offerings in the Liberty Park area. And the supply continues to increase. 54 v e s tav i a h i l l s l i v i n g 2 0 1 8
